Check Google Pagerank

Google assigns a pagerank value for every website it indexes. Pagerank is assigned on a scale of 0 to 10, where 10 indicates the highest (best) possible pagerank. A Google pagerank of 0 generally indicates a new website or a website without much contribution to the world wide web. The higher your Google pagerank, the more likely your website will be found on the internet. You can check your Google pagerank with the webmaster tool below.

Check Google Pagerank Instructions: Enter the domain name of the website you wish to check in the field below (yourdomain.com OR yourdomain.com/mypage.html). If an error message is received, it means that Google does not have your website indexed, or that there is an error with the information you submitted (check for mistakes).

About Google Pagerank:
Google Pagerank is a numeric value, ranging between 0 and 10, that represents how important a web page is on the web. Google figures that when one web page links to another, it is "casting a vote" for the other web page. For each link to a web page, Google tallies a pagerank value. However the amount of pagerank that is tallied up from each inbound link varies based on the amount of pagerank assigned to the web page providing the inbound link. For example, if your websites has inbound links, from website (A) with a pagerank of 6 and website (B) with a pagerank of 2, then your website would inherit considerably more pagerank from website (A).

Google Pagerank is a way of deciding a web page's importance, or authority, on subject matter. It is one of the major factors that determines a page's ranking in search results. Other factors include website content, longevity, meta and title tags, and other subtle factors. Use the "Check Google Pagerank" tool above to review the Google pagerank of your websites, and compare that to your competitor's sites or other benchmark sites.
